Membership
The association is a professional and educational organization of meat scientists and technologists with objectives of advancement of all aspects of science and technology relating to production, processing and marketing of meat and meat products to serve the humanity.
Membership is open to degree and or/diploma holders in meat/food science, related discipline and to those engaged in the profession. Professional individuals or groups, institutions or corporate bodies interested and engaged in research, training and education in meat science and all other related and allied subjects and any other relevant areas duly recognized by the association are eligible for the membership of the association. Overseas Indian students and scientists are also encouraged to be members of the association as per rules.
Membership Benefits
Each member will receive a copy of the Journal of Meat Science published by IMSA and all other communications related to association activities time to time.
- 1. Individual Life Members will receive a copy of the Journal of Meat Science published by IMSA and all communications related to association activities from time to time. Members will have access to association activities, newsletters, and preferential and discounted registration for workshops, meetings, conferences, and other scientific and professional activities. They may also participate in and seek support through the association's technical and scientific initiatives.
- 2. Individual International Life Members will receive the Journal of Meat Science and communications related to IMSA activities. They will have access to association activities, newsletters, scientific interactions, workshops, meetings, conferences, and other professional activities, along with applicable preferences and benefits extended to international members.
- 3. Corporate Life Members Corporate Life Members will receive the benefits applicable to institutional/corporate membership, including access to the Journal of Meat Science, newsletters, association activities, workshops, meetings, conferences, and scientific interactions. IMSA may provide knowledge support for workshops, discussion meetings, and technical sessions related to meat science education and professional development. Corporate members may also share technical notes and major new product or technology information through association newsletters, subject to approval by the editorial committee.

Note: Membership applications will be received throughout the year and will be reviewed and approved as early as possible. Ordinary or student membership will become active immediately and will expire on December 31 of the same year, regardless of the month it is received and approved.
Payment Methods: Membership Fee may be paid either by Cash or UPI or Demand Draft in the name of Indian Meat Science Association, payable at Hyderabad. No partial payments are accepted.
